Our Comprehensive LPD Talent Acceleration Model with Human Performance Technology Approach

With much investment poured into the visible part of Learning efforts, organization usually concentrate  HRD resources on training employees to become productive talents. We recommend in our Talent Acceleration Model to balance learning efforts with equal attention on Performance, which relates to transfer of learning into job application. The later Development stage often goes under the radar as the tail end of the talent lifecycle in an organization. Our model also suggests that organization socialize to promote the career trajectory part under Development of talent in order to benefit from mounting research findings that this stage impacts retention.

Extending from the model above, we use the Human Performance Technology approach to systematically structure operational end-to-end learning, performance, and development practical support for your people and organization.

 

As shown in the figure by Van Tiem et. al., (2012), the HPT model has the following steps. 

1. Analysis: Needs Analysis, Cause Analysis and Performance Analysis

2. Intervention selection: Environment / Individual

3. Intervention Implementation: Communication, Process consulting etc.,

4. Evaluation: Formative, Summative, Confirmative.
